Who would you go for. I know some people say push the boat out and go and get Nugent, but personally speaking i can't see the board spending the quoted £6M, more like a quarter to a third of that amount i reckon 1.5 - 2.0M.

I'd be gutted if they decided not to further invest in the club, as we only need a few injury's up front and we are stuffed again with the Forse not being available until the new year some time.

Who do you want then?

When Forssell is back, it will take another eternity to get him match fit again, it's so much hastle, and i dont want us to give up on him, but its really frustrating now, we all want to see him out there playing like we know he can, but unless we can somehow get him fit again, then i dont know whats going to happen with Forssell at blues anymore, i want him to suceed, im sure we all do, but we will just have to wait and see, and hope and pray that he gets right again.

Hardly a suprise I'd go for someone like Billy Sharp who people are mentioning.
But I suppose we could do with someone with a bit of experience.

Wel i belive that robbie fowler would be a good choice as at liverpool he isnt have then best of times and he can help our younger players progress. The only main factor is the wages he will be wanting so i suggest a loan move.
I hope when forssell returns that bruce does the decent thing and sending him out on loan because how is he ever going to get fit sitting on the bench every game.We all know he has the talent to score 20+ goals in what ever league he may be playing in but confindce is a huge factor and sending the lad on loan will do him the world of good and he may even come back better then ever.

KEEP RIGHT ON!! :drink:

I still think that we should go for a left winger instead of a forward, someone who can replace McSheffrey when he goes up front.

if a left mid is what we need if mcsheffrey went up front then i feel wayne routledge may be the answer and stick larsson on the left and routledge on the right or even keep larsson right and put routledge left. I honestly think though that mcshefrey no mater how good of a foward he is his most effetive postion is left mid.You can see his scored goals and also created 8 assists from that postion the second best in the league so why move a player from a postion when they the best in the league currently playing there. Its a centre back we need cuz ngotty isnt good enough. But i have yet to figure out who would be a good punt.

KEEP RIGHT ON!!

I'd sell Julian Gray - £1m to whoever wants him. I think the lad can do well, but his career here has gone stale and it obviously aint gonna work out for him. I think that with the right motivation and training he could be good - it aint cos I have anything against Jules...just I can't see his career here working.

Also, I agree with the last post, get Routledge in on loan with a view to permanent signing at the end of the season depending on whether we get promoted. Wayne can play left and right wing, just like Larsson, so again it gives us more options.

I wouldn't be too hasty to change this squad too much though. It might disrupt proceedings.

However, one more shout - in the summer try and grab Matt Murray for a bargain. Quality keeper. 4th best goalie on the actim index when Wolves are a pretty poor team!

Anyone see that nippy little black winger in the lower leagues, on the Championship highlights?

He was lightening quick and running at defenders like Aaron Lennon. He was in a yellowish kit if I remember right.

Whoever that kid is we need to get some scouts down there quick, playing on the left wing but using his right foot and coming inside. Kid looked absolutely class, I'd love to know who he is.

Okay, sorry guys.

One source told me Routledge's loan to Fulham was until January...now wikipedia says season long loan.

Frankly, I believe Wikipedia over an unnofficial Spurs site.

I don't think I'm thinking of the guy you're thinking of...

but someone who really impressed me two weeks ago was Wolves' right winger, Lewis Goburn.

Reminded me of a young Jermaine Pennant.

Could be a steal at this stage of his career - from local rivals as well!

the only thing is with routledge that i wil have to be a purchase as he is currently on loan at fulham who to be honest do not use as much as they possibly should. Hopefully if anough money is on the table spurs will recall him or even possibly ask porstmouth to send him back.

but we don't know whether it's a recallable loan.

Chances are, because he was part of the Malbranque deal, Fulham will have demanded that the loan is non-recallable.

Id get Lee Trundle in for about 1.5mil well worth a shot. I think it would take 6mil to get Nugent but well worth the money to dent Prestons push but maybe too much for the board. I wouldnt spend too much on F Eastwood tho as i cant see him cutting it in the prem. 2-2 prediction against Soton!

Get the best there is - Nugent. The money is there, don't let the board kid you otherwise. As for Fowler, get real. He has completely shot his bolt. He was awful against us in the Carling Cup. No more has beens and short terms quick fixes.

Derek Asamoah? Perhaps?

Striker/Right winger, Ghanaian international, strangely plays for Shrewsbury.

Played for Northampton, Mansfield, Lincoln, Chester and now Shrewsbury.

Made one appearance for Ghana.

wikipedia

Asamoah's first professional club was Northampton Town, where he made over 100 appearances, most of them as a substitute. He then joined Mansfield Town, but after a fall-out with the management, Asamoah joined Lincoln City for a nominal fee.

In May 2006 he was released by Lincoln City following a period on loan to Football League Two rivals Chester City. In search of a new club, Asamoah trialled with both Doncaster Rovers and Scunthorpe United during July 2006 but on August 3, 2006 Shrewsbury Town announced that he had signed for them.[1]

In October 2006, Asamoah travelled with the Ghana national team to Asia for friendlies against Japan and South Korea.[2] In playing the closing minutes of match against Korea, he gained his first full cap for his country.
